Come grow with us! V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking qualified Home Health Aides in Washington DC and Maryland to assist professional nursing staff perform nursing care activities to patients in an assigned patient's home.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists with Activities of Daily Living per plan of care (basic infection control, baths, oral hygiene, skin care, safe transfer & ambulation techniques, etc.)
• Assist with learning experience for new Home Health Aides.
• Takes responsibility for patient’s welfare while with new Home Health Aide during Home Health Aide orientation.
• Takes responsibility for own clinical practice within scope of license.
• Attends all clinical practice and all team conferences and attendance is documented.
• Attends all required in-services and attendance is documented.
• Appropriate care is given, documented, and reported to the responsible nursing staff.
• As warranted will assist cognitively capable adults by providing medication reminders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have one year previous experience or training as a PCA/CNA/GNA/Home Health Aide in healthcare.
• Basic computing knowledge and skills preferred.
• Ability to speak read and write English fluently.
• Home Health Aide licensure from the District of Columbia or Maryland.
• Active CPR certification.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
